Deck, swing, hammock, pool, and hot tub accepts everybody to relax.

Guests have access to the whole home with the exception of three locked utility closets and the locked shed in the carport.

I will be available by phone/e-mail as needed.

Corolla rental property booking tips and tricks:

Finding your perfect rental home:

  • Summer time is high season in the Currituck area. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Currituck vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Currituck visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines contain deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Planning and picking your Currituck vacation home:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. 5bd\/4bath short walk to beach with jacuzzi room\/hot tub\/private pool, ping pong has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If not, contact the property owner before booking your rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • Visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Store the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure that no damages are attributed to your visit, note any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the rental manager right away to document your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to drive more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
