Ships Ahoy! Welcome to this cavernous seven-bedroom, pet-friendly oceanside home in the Ocean Sands Community in Corolla. Ships Ahoy has a private heated pool (pool heat can be added for an additional fee) and more including a hot tub, and access to great community amenities such as a community pool and tennis courts!

Step into coastal appeal with a rec room, pool table, and refrigerator on the first level, along with two bedrooms, each with a Queen bed and a shared bath. The second level has a bedroom with a Queen Sleeper Couch, a Queen bedroom, a bedroom with a twin/twin bunk, trundle, and twin bed, plus a full bath and laundry access. You ll also find a master bedroom, furnished with a king bed and private bath and deck access.

The third floor offers a roomy great room with a plush couch, huge TV, sun decks to relax on with a morning cup of coffee. The kitchen is ideal for family meals, with a dining area that has seats everybody. There is also a bedroom with a king bed and private bath and deck access. Outside, appreciate the heated pool, hot tub, and charcoal grille. Located in the Ocean Lake neighborhood at the northern end of the Ocean Sands Community, Ships Ahoy is less than a 5-min. walk to the beach and close to stores and eateries. Ships Ahoy is your ideal OBX hideaway!

Exploring Corolla: Ships Ahoy is ideally located where you can discover the local area, with eateries, stores, and outdoor activities in just a short drive away. Be sure to visit the close by attractions of the Whalehead Club and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, both only a few miles from the home.

Beach Access: Just a short walk to the beach! Head east on Wave Arch and access the beach using the marked wooden walkway at the end of the street.

Heated pools are available Week Prior to Easter through Memorial Day and Labor Day Week through Mid-October.
Pools are set at a comfortable 78-80 degrees during the heated season. Please note that for optimal performance, outside temperatures must remain around 60 degrees or warmer. Various weather conditions such as wind speed and direction can affect the heat performance.

No Smoking/Vaping. Dog-Friendly (two dogs max.). Pool size: 23ft x 10.5ft

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (e-mail is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental prices in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
