Conveniences abound for your next Outer Banks vacation at Seadog, outside savor the enormous private pool and hot tub, and inside offers plenty of space for everybody to stretch out and relax, from the great room with living, kitchen, and dining areas to the separate recreation room with a pool table. Wifi is available if you need to work, finish some school work, or stream some movies.

There are exceptional community amenities to appreciate at The Currituck Club as well, access to tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, shuffleboard, exercise center, playground, community pools, and trolley service (Memorial Day through Labor Day) to the beach. Conveniently located near a Harris Teeter grocery store, many local eateries, stores, and outdoor adventures.

When to book & When to go:

• Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Summertime is high season in the Currituck area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
• Property managers typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses.
