*New for 2022: Renovated pool area, including expansion of the under-cover pergola, addition of a bathroom, relocation of the bar, a full size refrigerator, and additional outside shower.

Savor a modernized mid-level hall bathroom with a tiled shower/tub combination. Furthermore, we're partnering with Sanctuary Vineyards' 'Grape Escape' program. Each guest staying at this home will receive a voucher for a complimentary tour and reserve wine tasting (a $10 value per person), as well as special discounts when you visit the vineyard (you pass it on your way in if you're coming from the north). It's great for a rainy day!

Lower Level: This floor offers four bedrooms. There's a main bedroom with a king bed, a tub, a TV, and deck access, as well as a main bedroom with a queen bed and deck access. You'll also find a bedroom with two twin beds and deck access - it shares a bathroom with a bedroom featuring two twin-over-twin bunk beds and a TV with a DVD player. Rounding out this level is the laundry area.

Top Level: Up the stairs, you'll find an open and inviting living area and kitchen. The gorgeously decorated great room features a sizable flatscreen HDTV with a DVD player. Just off the great room is the dining room and a new sunroom, with another big-screen HDTV for guests to savor. The final bedroom is a main bedroom with a king bed, a bath, a TV, and deck access.

Conveniences: Guests can appreciate a private, unheated saltwater pool, a poolside cabana bar, two private hot tubs, five TVs, two DVD players, a beach cart, beach chairs, WiFi, HBO/Cinemax streaming, and a sunroom. Beach access is 220 yards away.

The pool is open from the end of April through mid-October. Dates are subject to change.
For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Whalehead Beach, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Corolla Beach. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and Corolla Raceway are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Currituck area. Booking your Currituck vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a good way to save on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes.
  • In the Currituck area, The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
