The Sounds of Joy is a striking 7 bedroom home with 5 full bathrooms and a half bath conveniently located on the top level. It is located on a cul-de-sac with vistas of the water and is just steps away from the Currituck Sound. L2 kayaks are available for the enjoyment of our guests.

This home is part of thee Corolla Light Resort! The resort has been voted the top resort on the east coast, offering many amenities. It's only a short walk to the beach, or if you prefer, sit down on a bench outside in the courtyard to be driven to the beach by one of the resort's trolleys (seasonal). The resort offers a Sports and Exercise Center which has indoor clay tennis courts (fee), hand ball, racquet ball, ping pong, sizable indoor lap swimming pool, indoor hot tub, weight rooms, spas and locker rooms. Corolla resort has four oceanside pools and a restaurant that overlooks the pools and ocean, where you can savor drinks and great food! This is a fun filled community for people of all ages with tons of activities, located close to the 4x4 beaches where Spanish horses roam complimentary and can be viewed with a 4-wheel drive car. The evening sunsets on the Currituck Sound are extraordinary, so make sure you take tons of photos and most of all, come and have tons of fun!

Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Finding the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Corolla. To find the best value, try changing your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • In the Currituck area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
