Complete with a private pool and furnished outdoor areas, this home offers supreme convenience just three tons away from the beach. A community pool and tennis courts are also available on a seasonal and weather-dependent basis. Little ones in the group can savor the playground, while exercise center access can also be arranged for an additional fee with daily or weekly pass options available for both individuals and the whole household. Bordering the Currituck Banks Preserve, you'll be up close and personal with natural Outer Banks beauty while also appreciating backyard privacy with no neighbors behind the home. The close by Maritime Forest Trail Head offers a boardwalk walk beneath the preserve's canopy and spectacular vistas of Raccoon Bay. Be sure to book one of the local tours for a chance to see the iconic Corolla Wild Horses.

With indoor and outdoor living areas spanning all three floors, this home is designed to accommodate friend and family groups with ease.

Inside, challenge guests to a few rounds of foosball in the ground-floor game room, appreciate some peaceful reading or TV time in the second-floor den, or gather for family movie nights in the upstairs great room. The beautiful full kitchen comes equipped with all the counter space and major appliances you'll need to handle family-style meal prep with ease. There's room for everybody between the kitchen bar and dining table, and for a special treat, the enclosed porch extension comes furnished with a table of its own for breezy semi-open dining. Added perks include a spare full-size refrigerator in the game room and a working (seasonal) gas fireplace in the great room. Home essentials include central air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Each floor leads out to a separate outdoor area offering both covered and open-air options. A gas grille is equipped for backyard barbecues and there's an outdoor dining table on the pool deck for enjoying alfresco meals.

Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

When to go & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Corolla. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • In the Currituck area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Currituck visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides have discounts for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Spacious beach house with private pool & hot tub - pool/tennis access has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available online. If you don't see them listed, email the property owner before you book your rental. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the host about pet restrictions before booking.

More considerations:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • During arrival, record any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
