SALE DI MARE which is located in The Beach Club at Whalehead community is literally right across the street from the Currituck lighthouse. When it is all said and done, there will be a hot tub, taco restaurant and bar, a exercise center, and concierge service. (All coming soon) The community pool and poolside lounge deck is open and ready for you to appreciate.There are poolside cabanas available to rent which have a teak lounge couch and/or chairs, teak side table, private TV, curtains, a misting fan and mini outdoor refrigerator. The community heated pool also has a hot tub (one pool towel per guest is included during your stay). Sale Di Mare which translates to Sea Salt is colorful, vibrant and Mediterranean inspired with its added touches. Our Villa is a three bedroom home with two full bathrooms and one half bath (Jack and Jill bathroom between two of the bedrooms…not the master bedroom). Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the other bedroom is a queen. Bath and linens are supplied along with shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. All bedrooms have TV’s, dressers, nightstands and walk in closets. The couch in the living room is also a sleeper for two. The home can sleep eight comfortably. We have an outdoor shower, an outdoor space for dining and calming, (including BBQ), as well as a balcony off of the master bedroom with really comfortable and cozy cushioned chairs. You can even see the beacon on the lighthouse blink at nighttime. The kitchen has everything you pretty much need…including additional amenities such as a crockpot, air fryer, Keurig, regular coffee pot, an Italian espresso pot, lobster pot, dinnerware, etc. etc… The dining area seating is for eight, the kitchen island has four counter stools and a wine refrigerator ( that would make a total of 12 seats to sit and savor your meal). Washer and dryer are upstairs. The living room area has a TV and the home of course has wifi. We also have a garage to store your beach chairs, coolers, body boards etc. The villa does come with 6 beach chairs, two beach carts, beach toys and 2 body boards to enjoy during your stay. There is a parking spot available at our home with additional guest/visitor parking spots throughout the community.

We are walking distance to eateries, specifically Corolla Light Town Center and very close to the 4x4 beach where you can get a glimpse of the wild horses. (5 mins. North of us) The pier to see the calming sunsets can be found across the street at the Historic Whalehead Club alongside the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. Fishing, surfing and swimming are just steps away. There is a lifeguard on duty at the beach. Corolla Surf Shop hosts surfing lessons at our beach, as it is a surfers spot to catch the waves. We are that close to Historic Corolla Village where you can bicycle walk and/or walk. It is just a delightful and peaceful place.

Grocery stores like Harris Teeter, Butcher’s Block and Food Lion are five to ten mins. just south of us. Lighthouse bagels and the Oceanside Farm Market are a car ride away (also 5-10 mins.). You can find seafood fresh from the sea at the market as well as fresh local produce and homemade baked goods.

Located near the beach, this villa is in Corolla Village, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Corolla Beach. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars are also worth visiting.
