In the great room there is a TV Home Theater System with Bose speaker. There is also a gas fireplace. WiFi range is great with three routers in the home. Strategies to get the very best Currituck vacation home experience:
Get the most from your rental home budget:
- June, July, and August are high season in Corolla. To get the largest rental within budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Currituck restaurants, tours, and activities.
- The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Currituck area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Make a plan and choose your prefect Currituck vacation home:
- Start by choosing vacation dates and a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Isle Of Skye: Pet-friendly, Pool, Spa, Rec Room has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
- If there's a specific Currituck beach you long to visit, keep an eye out for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your contract.
Considerations for your stay:
- Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- To make sure that damages are not attributed to your visit, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the rental manager right away to document your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
