Catch N Unwind is an immaculate waterfront vacation home in the ocean-to-sound resort community of Corolla Light. Your family will adore having their very own private pool right in the backyard. It can be heated certain times of the year, ideal for off-season getaways. The reverse floorplan, west-facing sun deck and windows galore make the most of the home's soundfront location. After a day at the beach or exploring the resort, come home and gather in the attractively furnished open-concept great room. When you're not trying out one of Corolla's marvelous eateries, prepare dinner at the home using the well-outfitted kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Serve meals at the enormous dining table with a sound view, or dine al fresco outside on the deck. A sunroom is located off the main living area with wrap-around windows for admiring the landscape, as well as a vaulted ceiling with skylights. French doors lead from the sunroom to the primary bedroom, providing an optional water view from this top-level suite. The primary bath includes a double vanity, jetted tub and separate shower.
The mid-level consists of four more bedrooms (including a second ensuite), three of which provide direct access to the soundfront covered deck. This 600 sq. ft. shaded outdoor living space includes comfortable lounge seating and a hot tub for soaking away the day while admiring the sunset. In the evenings, watch a movie or the big game in the ground level media room, and use the wet bar for convenient snacks and drinks without having to go upstairs. A shuffleboard table in the garage/game room provides another option for indoor entertainment, along with a full-size refrigerator for storing additional groceries or the catch of the day. The sixth bedroom is also located on the bottom level with an adjoining, semi-private bath. Catch N Unwind is equipped with an elevator, ideal for guests with mobility issues. Skip the stairs and use it to send suitcases to the upper floors. Finest of all, this home is dog-friendly so your fur babies can accompany you on the vacation of a lifetime.
As guests of Corolla Light, your family will have access to a variety of world-class resort amenities - there's really something for everybody! Park your car in the carport and leave it there for your entire stay. A trolley stop is located just two tons from the home and will take you anywhere in the community. Take a ride over to the Oceanfront Complex for a full day of fun in the sun. Along with direct access to the beach, you'll find three outdoor pools, a snack bar, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball and a playground.
Back on the soundside, Catch N Unwind is only 500 feet away from the Corolla Light Sports Center. Take a two-min. walk to this impressive 36,000 sq. ft. facility that includes an indoor pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a exercise center with showers and a sauna, racquetball, walleyball, ping pong, and weekly classes/activities. The community's outdoor soundfront pool is located directly across the lake. From there, you'll have access to miles of nature trails and a soundside pier for fishing and crabbing.

Rental home booking tips and tricks:
When to book & When to go:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Currituck area. To find the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
- The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.
Make a plan and choose the rightvacation home:
- Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and select a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Catch N Relax: Soundfront
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking websites. If not, contact the property manager before booking the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation group.
- Visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
Know before you go:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Note any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few problems.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your peace. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would've not otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to drive future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
