The private pool area includes plenty of seating, an outdoor shower, and a tiki bar. A huge outdoor turf area provides plenty of space for your entire group. Outdoor speakers allow you to appreciate great music while calming by the pool or grilling on the gas grille. Also, there is a 34" TV in the tiki bar!! The pool is open through Thanksgiving and can be heated for an additional fee!

The mid-level offers decks for various outdoor seating areas and a hot tub for relaxing. Completing this floor is a sitting area for separate relaxation with a TV/DVD combo and board games for all ages.

Top level: There is a well-outfitted kitchen with many cabinets, a huge island with additional seating, a 2nd sink, a enormous refrigerator with two ice makers, a double oven with a range, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a separate pantry/buffet area that combine to create a great kitchen. The living area has a sizable SMART TV, DVD player, stereo, gas fireplace, elevator, and A half bath. Master bedroom (king) with 32" TV/DVD and deck access, and ocean vistas;

Middle level: Master bedroom (king) with 32" TV/DVD and deck access to hot tub; master bedroom (queen) with 32" TV/DVD and deck access; master bedroom (2 twins) with 32" TV/DVD and deck access; sitting room with TV and deck access

Bottom level: Master bedroom (king) with 32" TV and DVD; bedroom (2 bunk beds) with 32" TV/DVD and separate bath; game room with TV, pool table, and kitchenette with mini-refrigerator and microwave; access to the pool area through the rec room and bathroom; laundry facilities. TVs on this lower level can be used with "guest-included Roku sticks."

Dogs are welcome. High-speed wireless internet access, porta-crib, high chair/booster seat, and bed and bath linens are supplied all year. The Ocean Lake community features a community pool and a separate kids' pool, tennis courts, a supplied 7-acre lake, and beach access walkways.

Constructed by Shoreline Builders, this home includes six bedrooms (5 are masters), 6 ½ baths, an elevator, a separate rec room with a pool table, a mid-level sitting area, a hot tub, a heated private pool ($500 weekly fee for heating), a reversed living/great room and kitchen, and plenty of outdoor living spaces!
Bright and striking, this Ocean Lakes home is located on a lot that backs up to a permanent open space with ocean and lake vistas. It's also kid-friendly!

However, due to the nature of our area, we cannot guarantee the internet will always be functioning, as the Outer Banks can experience outages from time to time. We strongly advise that guests bring their hotspots or other cell phone service devices to provide internet access, especially if they need it for work or school. Booking the best vacation rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Currituck area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Currituck area. To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Currituck restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.   • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to drive future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
