Golden Dunes ia a Corolla family beach home - 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, private heated pool w/ocean, and lighthouse vistas

A beautiful & comfortable bungalow at the end of the Corolla pavement before tires hit the 4x4 beaches. Well-suited for up to two families or as a anxiety-complimentary couple’s hideaway. Pet-friendly.

Location, location, location… you’ll have ocean, lighthouse & charming sunset vistas from our decks. Beach access is just a fast walk away… about 5 mins.. We have a private pool (heat supplied in rate, April, May, September, & October) and a hot tub located on the upper deck to savor & relax under the stars. Four wheel drive car is NOT required to access the property.

Our community is called The Villages at Ocean Hill and provides oceanfront and sound-side pools, a exercise center, a PICKLEBALL court, playground, basketball, sand volleyball and tennis courts. We are located east of route 12 north, just before the access ramp onto the 4x4 beaches.

Note: Anyone with a 4WD car can drive up the beach. If you’d like to park/tailgate on the beach for
the day, you can purchase weekly passes at the Corolla Visitor Center or online.






For 2025 our private heated pool is open and available from March 27 to November 3. We set temperature at 85° in April, May, September and October. The ambient temperature affects the overall temperature. Pool heat is supplied for complimentary.

House details:
Ground Level: Carport, enclosed outdoor shower, park grille, private heated pool, 10 x 19 kennel area. Security cameras, located in the carport, are facing the street for safety.

Mid-level: Main entrance, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, laundry area. There is the ability to create 2 primary king bedrooms and the queen and bunk rooms would then use the hall bath.

Top-level: Living area with TV, ships watch, deck with ocean/sound/lighthouse vistas, kitchen, dining area, 1 half-bath, screened porch, hot tub on top level deck.
WIFI is included, and all T.V.s are equipped for streaming, and there is a Golden Dunes Netflix account.

The kitchen is well-equipped, with new appliances and most everything you might want to prepare fun family meals after the beach.

Linens and bath towels are supplied. Please bring your own beach towels.

This home is owner-managed with regular improvements and updates. Recent improvements include painting the whole home inside and out (now blue) and adding new outdoor poly furnishings.

Located in Corolla, this vacation home is near theme parks and on a lake. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Corolla Beach. Traveling with kids?   • To book the largest vacation home within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Currituck restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.

  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
