Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Finding your perfect vacation home:

• In the Currituck area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
• Summertime is high season in Corolla. To book the best rental home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
• Some hosts offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Property managers usually offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
• Find a copy of your local Currituck area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines have coupons for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

• Start by choosing vacation dates and a max budget.

• Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is usually available on booking websites. Otherwise, email or call the host before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
• Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your contract.
• If there's an individual Currituck beach you crave, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
• Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Considerations for your stay:

• Take a copy of the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
• Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
• Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would at home.
• During arrival, document any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
• Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to compel future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback.
