Ground Level: Has a comfortable den/rec room with 2 TV's, cozy seating and a poker/game table for family fun.

Mid Level: Enter into a handsome entryway, a den w/TV and deck access. This level also offers a Queen/Bunk Bed room, a Full Bedroom, 2 full baths, A Master King room w/a vintage tub/shower for soaking after a long day at the beach, TV, access to deck and Hot Tub. The laundry room rounds out this area.

Top Level: Features a cavernous, open great room with charming ocean vistas, and furnishings, sizable TV, gas fireplace. The high-end kitchen offers top of the line appliances, 2 dishwashers, a gas stove, granite countertops, drink drawer, wine cooler, plenty of seating and entirely equipped. Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Corolla Light, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Corolla Beach. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Tips to get the optimal vacation property experience:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the best vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Currituck attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Currituck visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines have offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what is optimal for your vacation group.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental. Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • Document any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
