Uniquely designed to provide handsome ocean vistas from many vantage points, as well as a nice balance between privacy and open gathering spaces, this phenomenal beachfront home is accented with juniper ceilings, constructed-in bedroom dressers, and cedar lined closets. Come discover Sea Shells by the seashore where you will collect fond memories of time spent with family and friends.

Ground Level: The carport with 2 outside showers, a loo, and a new private boardwalk that connects to the community walkway to the beach, has an entry leading to stairs with a window lined Double room off the landing halfway up to the mid level.

Mid Level: The broad main entry hall has a full bath directly opposite the stairs, and opens to the light filled den with a sizable flat screen TV/DVD, two couches including one Queen Sleep Couch, deck access and a alluring ocean view. A private hall across from the den has the washer/dryer closet and leads to a Queen room with access to the oceanfront deck and shares a bath and a modest private deck with a room with 2 Singles. There is a very roomy window lined King mbr with a whirlpool and separate shower in its tiled bath, as well as access to the oceanfront deck and great vistas.

Top Level: Off the stair landing halfway to the top level, there is a window lined Queen room with an ocean view. At the top of the stairs you will find the cavernous kitchen with an island bar, granite countertops, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, and a 5 burner cooktop. Opening off the kitchen is a huge covered deck with sunset vistas. A half flight of stairs above the kitchen is a window lined room with a table and 4 chairs and a great ocean and sunset view. Handsome oak columns flank the entry to the freshly furnished sitting area and support handsome half moon cutout details. Lined with windows to bring in light and the most extraordinary ocean vistas, the sitting area has a TV mounted over the double sided fireplace which is shared with the open dining area overlooking the ocean and equipped with a table seating 10, and both have access to the oceanfront deck. There is a half bath and beyond it, a King mbr that opens to the oceanfront deck with the hot tub, and has a spacious tiled bath with raised whirlpool, separate shower, double vanity, and a walk-in closet.

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Whalehead Beach, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Corolla Beach. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and Corolla Raceway are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Currituck restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.
