You may not want the Sandman to enter on your vacation fun because you won’t want to sleep and miss a min. of your vacation when you stay in this additional special home. Elegant and timeless in appeal, this amazing oceanfront estate is ready to make your vacation dreams come true. The great room and top level sitting area with their floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach and beyond take your breath away - this is one of the best oceanfront vistas on the beach. The wraparound porch, private decks, wood floors, private pool, hot tub and fantastic ocean vistas make this home a special place for you and your family to savor year after year.

Ground Level: Enter from the carport to a huge den with HDTV/DVD, CD/Stereo, wet bar with full-size refrigerator. The access to the pool area, a convenient half bath, and a Queen bedroom that shares a bath with a room with 2 twin beds are found on this level.

Mid Level: The wood floors and window-lined great room are just two of the best features of this level. In the living area you will find comfortable seating, a gas fireplace, 55” HDTV/DVD and a CD/Stereo. The open kitchen accepts everybody to stay in touch and not miss out on any fun while preparing meals. There are two dining areas and a screened porch. You will also find a half bath, a bedroom with Queen bed that has an oceanfront deck and a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a private north facing deck (still with ocean vistas!). These 2 bedrooms share a bath. The laundry area is on this level too.

Top Level: As if the first two levels weren't enough, this level with its 2 King main bedrooms is the icing on the cake! One of the masters offers a sizable tile bath with whirlpool tub and a private oceanfront deck. There are 2 sitting areas, one on the west side and one on the east side. Both offer comfortable seating and a calming ambiance - oh, and did I mention the vistas?! You will also find the 3rd half bath here.

THINGS TO KNOW
For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.
Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st.
The pool is open from the end of April through mid-October.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Whalehead Beach, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Corolla Beach. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to visit & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Booking in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • In the Currituck area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.
