New for 2025: Outdoor dining area off the top-level deck! Embrace togetherness and connection at Koselig Kove, a thoughtfully appointed home in the Villages at Ocean Hill. Koselig (pronounced "kuh-sah-lee") is a Norwegian concept that conveys a collective sense of coziness and refuge while simultaneously encouraging connection with nature. The top-level great room brings the outdoors in with an abundance of windows and natural light, along with effortless transitions to the wrap-around deck. A relaxing color palette and original wood floor flows from the living area to the dining area for a cohesive, organic look. Meal prep can be a family affair using the huge kitchen with stainless steel appliances and center island with butcher block countertops. Take Koselig to the next level in the raised living area with additional seating and TV. This loft space creates a sense of coziness and getaway while still maintaining connection and sightlines to the rest of the common areas.
All four bedrooms are located together on the mid-level, two of which feature wood floors and deck access. Each bedroom includes an ensuite bath so everybody in your group will have their own private getaway. An equally broad wrap-around deck on this level offers plenty of shade and is equipped with a hot tub. The ground level is dedicated to gathering and making memories, with a massive rec space that leads directly to the private pool area. A pool table will provide hours of indoor entertainment, and the wet bar with full-size refrigerator is ideal for pool-side drinks and snacks. The pool can even be heated certain times of the year, ideal for Spring and Fall getaways.
During your stay at Koselig Kove, the entire family can take advantage of the exclusive community amenities offered by The Villages of Ocean Hill. A neighborhood beach access on Windance Lane is within walking distance from the home but also provides parking. The community's oceanfront pool on Sandcastle Drive is just a short drive away and also provides direct access to the beach, along with cabanas, a snack bar and ample parking. Additional amenities include a lakefront pool, playground, shuffleboard, volleyball and basketball. Weekly passes can be purchased for access to the exercise center and tennis courts. Nature lovers can discover the Currituck Banks Maritime Forest using the close by walking trail. A 2-mile stretch of the newly paved bicycle lane connects the Villages at Ocean Hill to shopping and dining in the Corolla Light community.
No family pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates and pool heat information, including details regarding the optional pool heat fee.

How to get the best Corolla vacation property experience:
Finding your perfect vacation home:
- Summer is high season in Corolla. Reserve your Currituck rental home in Fall or Spring months to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Currituck visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines have coupons for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Choose vacation dates and maximum budget.
- Hot Tub
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
- Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.
More considerations:
- Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Record any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respect the neighborhood. Often times, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would back home.
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a great stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
