Joint Venture is the ideal hideaway for making cherished memories with family and friends. Located in the sought-after Whalehead Beach community in Corolla, this comfortable getaway offers a bright and open great room featuring cozy seating —ideal for calming after a day at the beach. The adjacent dining area comfortably seats 12, and the well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar makes mealtime a breeze.

Savor the ocean breeze from the east-facing sunroom or soak up the sunshine on the wraparound sun decks that surround three sides of the top level. The lower level includes a enormous bedroom ideal for kids or groups, with two bunk beds and two twin beds. There are also two master bedrooms, each with a king bed. Outdoors, you'll find a private 12' x 24' gated pool, a screened-in sun porch with a mini refrigerator, and a relaxing whirlpool tub. Additional amenities include a carport swing, basketball goal, outdoor play set, enclosed outdoor shower with changing area, and a grille for cookouts.

Visiting Corolla: Joint Venture is a haven for sun lovers, swimmers, golfers, and surfers alike. Located close to the Currituck Club, practicing that swing or making a hole-in-one is ideal. Just mins. away, is the iconic Currituck Lighthouse, Whalehead Club, and 4x4 beach providing plenty of activities for everybody. Local eateries, unique stores, grocery stores, and outdoor adventures give visitors plenty of options to make the most of their stay.

Beach Access: Just a short walk from the home! Head south on Whalehead Drive until you reach the Tuna Street path. From there, head east and cross Lighthouse Drive at the crosswalk. The Tuna Street beach access offers a wooden walkway to effortlessly cross over the dunes.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (e-mail is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental prices in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Currituck attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
