Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 13, 2024 and May 2, 2025 until October 12, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Family Animals are not allowed in pools under any circumstances. An additional fee will be charged to leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. Hot tubs are available year-round. Fireplace seen in photos is non-functioning and not available for use. This property provides a $250 credit toward beach gear delivered to your rental property. *Delivery costs may apply.* Offer only good for full weeks booked with check-ins beginning between May 24, 2024 and September 1, 2024, and May 23, 2025 and August 31, 2025.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Getting the best rental home value:

  • The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Summertime is high season in the Currituck area. To find the best value, change your family's Currituck vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, , and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Some hosts offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
