The Neighborhood:
Located in The Whalehead Neighborhood in Corolla, NC. Just a short walk to the beach! A short drive to close by eateries, stores, and Carova Beach which is the home of the OBX wild horses!

There are numerous grocery stores within mins.. Food Lion and Harris Teeter. There are local eateries in Corolla and in Duck. Most of the nicer ones will require a reservation - some on Open Table. There are many adventure activities and tours in the area and they fill up fast.

Just a few mins. north is the entrance to the 4x4 Beach, where you can take a breathtaking drive on the sand and possibly catch a glimpse of the wild horses grazing on the beach. Walk to the Whalehead Brewery, Food Lion or Timbuck 2 shopping center.

We do not accept reservations from individuals under 25 and stringently prohibit third-event bookings. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.

Get the best value:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Currituck area. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Currituck vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection.
