Great pet friendly family beach home with painless access to the ocean!
Unique 4 BR, 3 BA home surrounded by live oaks with 6 decks and a peaceful perch for everybody in your family. With decks and huge windows looking out from nearly every vantage point - you'll feel like you're living in biggest tree home you could imagine!
Very comfortable home, freshly refreshed in 2021 including freshly refreshed very well outfitted 'chef's' kitchen to make it even easier for your ideal family or friends get-away. New decking on top level with screened and un-screened porches. Ship's watch for great late afternoon reads in either sun or shade. Generous screen TV in Living room with surround sound and home supplied Netflix account. All TV's are SmartTv's and include access to 50 stations, plus Intelligent TV apps.
We provide linens per the number of people booked including sheets, towels and beach towel. The home offers a private pool open May 1 to mid Oct (unheated) each year and a hot tub that's open year round.
We include complimentary adult beach bicycles, beach chairs and body boards for your use. Gas Bbq, screened in porch, 2 mins bicycle to stores, cafes, mini golf, community boat launch. The home is a 'reverse' floor plan with bedrooms on the mid-level and the main living space on the top floors.
All of the home is included in the rental. Matt is available by text or phone. There is a local management company that I can contact to take care of service needs if they arise.
Monteray Shores, located in Corolla, North Carolina, on the northern Outer Banks, is located between the sound and the ocean. Because of its ideal location, Monteray Shores homeowners and their rental guests can appreciate all that the sound and ocean have to offer. We are the only community on the northern beaches offering a private launch for personal watercraft to our owners and guests.
Come visit us and experience beautiful sunrise and sunsets and warm Outer Banks appeal. Corolla welcomes guests with a host of available activities from ocean sports to close by golf. Stroll among the area stores or take in the historic and environmental attractions that are just mins. away.
The community of Monteray Shores offers bicycle and kayak units, crabbing off the piers, playing tennis or getting a workout in our gym. Family activities and programs for the entire family are offered at our clubhouse during the summer months. Off-Street parking available for 4 cars at the home. Additional parking is 3 min. walk away at the Overflow guest parking on Drifting Sands Drive.
I provide adult beach cruise bicycles for your use which are a fun way to get to supermarkets and eateries. You can conveniently run daily errands by bicycle if you'd like. Tennis / Gym / Basketball Courts / Playground. Clubhouse is 2 mins. by bicycle and available Mar 1 to Dec 16. 2 Soundside piers are 3 mins by foot for great sunsets! Ocean beach is 10 min walk, 5 mins by bicycle or 1 min by car. There is plenty of parking at the beach. Tim Buk II with its 90 stores and eateries and amusements is 2 min drive (Apr to Oct). The hot tub is open year-round. The club home pool is open Mid May to Late September depending on weather temps.
Animals welcome. Solid surface floor and your commitment to the next guest's experience keeps everything tidy. No additional fee charged.

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance.
