When to book a Currituck rental home & When to go:

  • In the Currituck area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Summer time is high season in Corolla. To book the largest vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.

  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to drive more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review.
