Welcome to Pressure Drop! Closer to the beach access than many semi-oceanfront homes…only 75 steps to the private beach access! Our guests appreciate an open, bright, and cheerful great room and kitchen, as well as a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax.
Multiple levels of decking showcase ocean vistas to the east and sunsets to the west. The home features a new 15x35 pool (heating is available) with a full-width splash and lounge pad, and a cavernous pool deck that includes a new hot tub. Many new upgrades include dual tankless water heaters, individual temperature controls for the three new bedrooms, a new upstairs refrigerator, high-speed Wi-Fi with a mesh router system, and a roomy outdoor shower. Once you walk into the home, you'll discover it is well-decorated, well-cared for, and with pride of ownership throughout.
Top level: Kitchen with appliances, plenty of seating for everybody to sit around for a big family dinner. Living room with a sizable comfortable couch, where you can have a fantastic view of sunrises. However, due to the nature of our area, we cannot guarantee the internet will always be functioning, as the Outer Banks can experience outages from time to time. We strongly advise that guests bring their hotspots or other cell phone service devices to provide internet access, especially if they need it for work or school. When to book & When to go:
- Summer months are high season in the Currituck area. Booking your Currituck vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
- The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
- Property managers typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses.
