A vacation like no other awaits at this multi-level oceanfront home! You'll find nothing but comfort, luxury, and all the amenities of a home away from home with an additional plus. The Blue Lady is just ideal for vacations with your friends, family, or even multiple families thanks to the eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, one powder room, one outdoor bathroom and shower, and multiple living and entertainment spaces available.

The highlight of your OBX vacation will be the shining blue ocean right outside your door, pristine white sand beaches (not rocky), and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The Blue Lady is delightfully decorated, decked out in antiques and fine furnishings, original seascape paintings, folk art, and oriental carpets. The Blue Lady is located in the premiere Pine Island community, a winner of the Medium Single Family Community of the Year in North Carolina. The home is in close proximity to grocery stores, eateries, and shopping, and is located on a beautiful cul-de-sac. The Pine Island community also offers broad bicycle paths and running trails, a playground, two community pools, and tennis courts available to our guests. There is something for everybody: sunbathers, shell seekers, sandcastle makers, pool splashers, stargazers, movie watchers, puzzle-makers, gamers, bibliophiles, basketball players, and pianists.

This gem of a coastal getaway is subdivided into three levels, all of them boasting to-die-for conveniences, well-designed and furnished bedrooms and bathrooms, and countless entertainment.

On the main and ground floor level, you'll be greeted by the jaw-dropping 'Blue Lady Theatre' featuring impressive wood paneling, comfortable leather seating for 16, and a wet bar with a microwave and mini-refrigerator, ideal for snacks! Beyond that is the amazing ship's cabin bunk room with a huge constructed-in TV entertainment system and a semi-private adjoining bath with a walk-in shower. This level also offers another bedroom with a TV/DVD, a library bedroom with another TV, and a shared hall bath with a tiled walk-in shower. We've got your laundry needs covered with the huge laundry room boasting washers/dryers, a full refrigerator, and enough counter space to comfortably fold your clothes.

If you're coming from the first floor, you can climb up the stairs or ride the elevator up to the second and main level of this unbelievable home. However, if it's your first time entering the home at all, go through the tiled enormous entry featuring an awe-inspiring grandfather clock to reach the inviting English pub with a full-size pool table, two sizable TVs/entertainment system, raised spectator seating, a full refrigerator, an English bar with wine cooler, ice maker, bar seating, and access to the oceanfront pool deck with two hot tubs and a private beach walkway with a dune top deck. We weren't joking when we told you The Blue Lady is all about entertainment.

This level also features four bedrooms: A bedroom with a TV/DVD, a desk, and access to the window-lined and well-equipped exercise room with a TV overlooking the pool and ocean; another main bedroom with an electrically adjustable bed and a sizable TV/DVD theatre system; a semi-private main bedroom with a TV/DVD that shares its bath with the pub; and another main bedroom with a king bed and a modest TV/DVD.

And last, but certainly not least, the upper level is simply a delight. As soon as you reach this level, you'll witness gorgeous ocean vistas that are supplied by the enormous window-lined great room featuring a massage chair and two leather furnished sitting areas, one with TV/DVD and stereo and separated by a glass-sided gas fireplace; a wet bar with ice maker and TV and bar seating, the electric grandiose piano; two dining areas, one with a long table and the other with a round table in the medieval style turret; the well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, two Wolf ovens and a microwave, an island with a six-burner gas Jenn-Air cooktop, two dishwashers, and additional seating at the kitchen bar; and lastly the oceanfront Monopoly game room complete with a Thomas the Train play table. There is also a main bedroom with a TV/DVD, a whirlpool, a walk-in steam shower, and vanity and double toilets in its large tiled bath. Two levels of sun and shade decks, handsome landscaping, flowering shrubs, and a paved patio complete the picture of the fascinating Blue Lady.

THINGS TO KNOW
The fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st.
Pool heat is not available in July and August.
The pool is open from the end of April through mid-October.
For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Corolla. To book the largest vacation home within your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
