Moon Over Magnolia offers a delightful view of the sound with striking sunsets from the top level sun deck. Unwind and have fun in your own private pool and hot tub. Cavernous covered decks allow you a place to get away and appreciate a good book and your morning coffee or tea. The open area in the great room gives everybody a place to gather for movies and delicious meals, two master suites and a rec room for the kids makes this home the ideal get away for your OBX vacation.

Magnolia Bay is a great neighborhood to savor the outdoors, from running, walking, cycling and all the great amenities of The Currituck Club. Many local eateries, stores and outdoor activities are close by.

Family Animals allowed - dogs only. No smoking/vaping. All trolleys run from Saturday of memorial day weekend through Labor day. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Getting the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Currituck area. To book the largest vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Currituck restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.

  • Lock your rental while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
