Evenings on the deck watching the stars or playing games on the screened porch will bring everybody together or check out that new 58” TV with streaming service in the top-level living room. Appreciate the sunrise and a cup of coffee each morning on the top-level screened porch or the lower deck pub table in the shade! All 3 bedrooms are delightfully decorated to ensure that your “own space” will be comfortable and relaxing.

Located in Whalehead Beach close to shopping, eateries, golf, groceries, kids' activities, and movies. Historic Corolla Village is also close by so you can check out the Corolla Lighthouse for a climb or the Whalehead Club and the Maritime Museum for historical tours. Just a 10-min. drive to the famed Corolla Wild Horse Preserve in the 4 x 4 area for wild horse sightings, wide open spaces, and other elegant wildlife.

Coastal Comfort bungalow is also ideal for golf or those charming getaways, too! The Currituck Club Golf is less than 10 mins. from the bungalow with handsome sound side golf and vistas. Unwind on the beach, take in the sights, reserve a romantic dinner, or spend the day shopping...there is something for everybody at “Coastal Comfort”! Full-size refrigerator in ground floor “ tenant space”, with keys supplied, will allow you to store your drinks and snacks close to the pool! Island blue poolside picnic table seats 6-8 for your enjoyment, along with pool lounges and chairs.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Currituck area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • To find the largest rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Currituck attractions.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses.   • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
