Outer Banks vacations should be all about families! You will be charmed in this pretty family-friendly vacation property located on the oceanside of Corolla Light Resort. Wood floor runs through the great room and kitchen. Granite countertops welcome you. The décor has a casual coastal flair with soft color and great linens. The screened porch adds a comfortable outdoor living area hugged by oaks on ancient sand dunes.
Speaking of sand dunes…you can walk to the beach or you can take the trolley to the oceanfront complex with pools, a playground, a kiddie pool, bathrooms, and snacks. If you don't want to walk, the trolley also makes getting to the Sports Complex simple for all ages.

As you spend time outdoors, relax on PolyWood outdoor furnishings by the private and newly surfaced pool! Yes, this pool does offer privacy thanks to the trees around the pool fence. You can savor grilling and meals poolside without feeling like the neighbors are crowding you. The ground-level rec room has a full-size pool table and a half bath that is very convenient from the pool deck. Memories will be made at “Coastal Charm”.

Does anyone need to work while on vacation? The top-level study is a great spot for work and meetings.

**We have been notified that the Corolla Light indoor community pool will not be available for the 2023 season through March 2024 due to renovations. All outdoor pools will still be available.**

Additional luxury details:
Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 13, 2024 and May 2, 2025 until October 12, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Animals are not allowed in pools under any circumstances. An additional fee will be charged to leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning, or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. Hot tubs are available year-round. Fireplace seen in photos is non-functioning and not available for use.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

When to visit Corolla & When to book:

  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer time is high season in Corolla. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Currituck vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.   • Inspect the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
