Savor Sunrise beach strolls; spend afternoon of volleyball/basketball in the heated private pool w/ colored lights; or just hot tub! (Open all year; inquire to heat.) This uniquely striking Historic Nags Head-style bungalow is a about 4000 SF with 5 handsomely appointed, beach-themed bigger bedrooms; 4 cavernous full baths, 2 half baths PLUS 2 sizable, private outside showers w/ changing areas (hot/cold water). And, multiple foot washes.

Kids will adore the Captain's Bunk Room with constructed-in bunk-beds, each with its own "cubbies", curtains and lights (w/ safety rails) to keep kiddos busy for hours! (Also equipped with "pack-N-play style bed", gate and high-chair.)

The massive back, mid-level deck overlooking the swimming pool with appealing vistas of the Currituck lighthouse beacon and Ocean waves! Great for chill-axing during the day under "Tiki-style" umbrellas, and for grilling, star-gazing and watching the lighthouse by nighttime! Or, enjoy the "captain's watch" deck as you see / hear waves crashing ashore. Rock-away sweet tea afternoons in North porch breezes.

The Legacy's multiple wrapping decks are equipped with rockers & dolphin-watch chairs...plus huge screen-enclosed porches (2) with overhead fans! Unwind in summer breezes in additional ground-level seating areas (not pictured). Don't forget hammock calming with a selection from the Legacy Library.

Re-join for evening meals or card-playing on the giant antique dining table off kitchen surrounded by 2 expanded screened porches. And, don't forget the Butler's Bar connected the eating and den areas (effortlessly closed off by glass French doors to keep little ones out.) Chef Kitchen is entirely-supplied for great cooks, or just an easy taco dinner! (Stove pot filler; multiple crab/steam pots; taco servers; Instant Pot, air fryer; micro./air fryer; sauce warmers; Foreman grille, popcorn makers, dish/utensil sets for 2+ rounds of meals! And the beach is so close-not a "hot" walk when kids need the bathroom! I have thought of this home very often after my visit...I can't wait to return! This is the most pretty home around! You can tell it is well-appreciated because it's in immaculate condition. I adore all the charming wood-working and Old Nags Head-style design. My kids left here with smiles on their faces! Booking process:
The Legacy offers Convenient Keyless Check-in any time after bungalow is ready. Each Guest Family is included their own private access code for the week. In order to offer this benefit, Host relies heavily upon the following:
• Vacation rental agreement, included as early as 60 days prior to Guest check-in;
• To keep process efficient, request Guests respond with info. for agreement within 2 weeks of request, or sooner.
• Agreement must be completely finished & signed in order for Guest access. (Adults sign & occupant list included.)
• To make sure your vacation runs smoothly, Manager hosts Pre-check-in call - usually the week prior to arrival.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
• Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.
