Ground Level: Entry Level. Queen Master Bedroom and laundry room with washer and dryer.

Mid Level: Private den with Queen Sleep Couch and flat screen TV (could double as a 6th bedroom), Queen Master Bedroom with TV and private deck and a Bedroom with 2 Singles and deck access that shares a full hall bath with a Bedroom with DuoBunk, Trundle and deck access. Hot tub is on the deck.

Top Level: Great room with TV/DVD, gas fireplace and deck access, dining area seating 9, kitchen with breakfast bar seating 3, Ships Watch with ocean view, half bath and a King Master Bedroom with TV, private deck and bathroom with jetted bathtub plus shower.

Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking the best Currituck rental home experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a Corolla rental home:

  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Currituck area. To get the most suitable vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Currituck attractions.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local Currituck visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitor guides contain deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Start by selecting trip dates and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Oceanside, Hot Tub, Community Amenities, 845 ft to Beach Access, PI6, Fan-ta-sea has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available online. If they are not listed, call the property management company before booking the property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what configuration is right for your vacation group.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Get details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking

Know before you go:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Note any issues with the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute arises.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
