"Irie" is a Jamaican saying that means "I'm alright," and that's exactly how you'll feel during your stay at this freshly constructed home in the Villages at Ocean Hill. The lot is located across from Crystal Lake and backs up to the Currituck Banks Maritime Forest for ultimate seclusion and privacy. You'll be just half a mile from the wide and pristine 4x4 beaches where you can spend the day among Corolla's wild horses. After a day of sun, sand and surf, come home and splash in the private pool or take a calming soak in the hot tub. Inside, the main living area offers plenty of comfortable seating plus an open-concept layout for quality time spent with appreciated ones. Vaulted ceilings and a relaxing color palette create a bright, coastal-inspired space with generous natural light. The great room also features a cozy electric fireplace and access to the beautiful front porch. The chef in the family will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen with beautiful granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island with bar seating. Stylish LVP floor runs throughout the entire home, including the bedrooms. At the end of the nighttime, getaway to the roomy primary suite with access to a private sun deck and a spa-like bath with bespoke-tiled shower. Two additional bedrooms and two full baths downstairs will comfortably accommodate family and friends. Also on the ground level you'll find a rec room with sleeper couch, TV and arcade game. It leads directly out to the pool area and is equipped with a wet bar for convenient drinks and snacks to savor poolside or at the Tiki Bar.
While you're here, take advantage of the Villages at Ocean Hill community amenities including oceanfront and lakefront pools, playground, basketball court, and nature trails. Weekly passes can be purchased for access to the exercise center and tennis courts. Cyclists will enjoy the nearly 2-mile stretch of the freshly paved bicycle lane which connects the Villages at Ocean Hill to shopping and dining in the Corolla Light community. Finest of all, the beach is just a half mile away using the access on Sandcastle Drive, which is within walking distance but also provides parking.
No family pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Our top Corolla rental home booking tips and tricks:
Get the most from your rental budget:
- Summer months are high season in the Currituck area. Reserve your Currituck rental in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family.
- Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Find a copy of your local Currituck visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guides contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Planning, selecting, and booking a perfectvacation home:
- Select a designated group leader, choose your trip dates, and select a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Irie: New Build
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If not, call the property manager before you book the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
- If there's a particular Currituck destination you simply love, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the owner about your furry family members before booking.
Have a great stay:
- Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- During arrival, note any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
- Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
