Mid Level: King Master Bedroom with a flat-screen TV, private bathroom and deck access. King Bedroom with flat-screen TV, full hallway bathroom, Bedroom with a DuoBunk, Trundle and flat-screen TV and the laundry room with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Great Room with flat-screen TV/DVD, Queen Sleep Couch, electric fireplace and deck access, kitchen with counter seating for 3, dining area seating 6 and a half bathroom.

Linens and towels included at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

  • In the Currituck area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to compel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective.
