Atabey welcomes you to unending summer fun in this 8-bedroom semi-oceanfront home located in Whalehead Beach, Corolla. This gem of a home is ideal for family getaways, friends' get-togethers, or when you simply need a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. An broad pool (pool heat can be added for an additional fee.) with two hot tubs, a cabana, and roomy decks offer plenty of room to relax and bask in the sun. For when you want some indoor fun, the rec room has a pool table while a theatre room transforms regular movie nights into movie marathon evenings.

Guests are welcomed into a great room with vaulted ceilings and spectacular vistas of the ocean. The well-equipped kitchen is the ideal spot for culinary adventurers with two fridges and two dishwashers, and a sizable dining table with seating for 10, in addition to the breakfast nook with seating for 8. If you have to, there's even a home office where you can catch up on your work. To top it off, the home comes with five king en suite bedrooms and three kids' bedrooms with pyramid bunk beds that will provide plenty of comfortable sleeping and private space for everybody. The elevator provides access to all levels so you won't have to worry about scaling any stairs!

Visiting Corolla: Atabey is also conveniently close to golfing at the Currituck Club where you can savor a round of golf with friends. Nature lovers can also discover the Wild Horses at the 4x4 beach or the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. For those who want to experience the local life, there are plenty of close by eateries and unique stores to discover and a bicycle path that accepts you to take in the scenery.

Beach Access: Conveniently located right across the street from the home! Safely cross Lighthouse Drive at the pedestrian cross walk to access the beach using the Coral Walkway.

Heated pools are available Week Prior to Easter through Memorial Day and Labor Day Week through Mid-October.
Pools are set at a comfortable 78-80 degrees during the heated season. Please note that for optimal performance, outside temperatures must remain around 60 degrees or warmer. Various weather conditions such as wind speed and direction can affect the heat performance.

Pools are open (April 1 - Mid-Oct). Heated pools are available April 1 through Memorial Day and Mid-September through Mid-October. All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (e-mail is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental prices in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
