Located in Carova beach, acclaimed for its clean and wide beaches. Keep an eye out for wild horses grazing close by or dolphins playing in the surf!

Ground level: Exterior amenities include a covered carport, gated pool area with 2 picnic tables, corn hole game and outside shower. Entry level. Inside you'll find the laundry area with washer and dryer.

Mid level: King Master Bedroom with TV, private deck with ocean vistas and private bathroom with tub and shower. Den with Futon, TV/DVD and access to the hot tub deck, Queen Bedroom with deck access to the hot tub area, Bedroom with DuoBunk, Trundle and deck access with ocean view, hall bath with tub and shower and a half bath on landing to upper level.

Top level: King Master Bedroom with TV/DVD, private bathroom and deck access with ocean vistas. Substantial kitchen with counter seating for 2, dining area seating 8 and the great room with TV and deck access. Ship's Watch with handsome ocean vistas.

Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Gas fireplace is not available to renters.
4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive cars such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand.

Trash pick-up is Wednesday and Sunday.

Swan Beach is convenient for families with kids and older folks because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive car brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and appreciate the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and savor the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and tons of waterfowl on the sound.

Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are supplied with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County (https://currituckcountync.ticketspice.com/currituckbeachparking) The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online, but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center (500 Hunt Club Drive). Please double check Corolla Visitor Center business hours when planning your trip.

When to book a Currituck rental & When to go:

• In the Currituck area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
• Summer time is high season in Corolla. To get the largest vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.

Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what is right for your vacation.
• Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs could be applied to your contract.
• Are you visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
• Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.

During your stay:

• Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
• Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of problems.
• Lock your rental while you are out. Protect your property!
• To make sure no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during check in. message the rental manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
• Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local beaches.
