There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand and salt before heading inside for rest and relaxation.
Inside, you'll find attractively furnished living spaces and a modern and functional kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. Ample seating for all meals and watching family viewing of your favorite show or movie. The living and dining areas also feature beautiful vistas of the Atlantic Ocean, and with very little light pollution, the nighttime skies are amazing! Step out onto the wide ocean-facing decks and savor the serenity.

Tips and Tricks for getting the perfect Currituck rental experience:
How to get the best value:
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- To get the best value, consider changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
- Some hosts offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers frequently offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Currituck area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides contain money saving offers on nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Make a plan and pick your Currituck rental:
- Start by selecting your a vacation week and a budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Newly built oceanside home situated among the dunes and wild horses in Carova! has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
- Visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
More tips for your visit:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent lots of concerns.
- Lock your rental while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- To ensure that damages are not linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the property manager immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a excellent time? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
