No expense was spared in the creation of this lovely 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, located in the secluded 4x4 section of the Outer Banks. “Seabatical” is the perfect size for your family, with plenty of room to spread out and relax! Wake to the sunrise in the king master on level three with deck access and move to the spacious great room, perfect for gathering, with incredible views of the ocean. The well stocked kitchen with island seating has plenty of room for multiple chefs. Take your meal to the screened in porch just off the kitchen and enjoy the night air while listening to the roar of the ocean.
Descend to level two to find another King master bedroom with deck access and two more bedrooms with deck access; a Queen and Twin that share a hall bath. A full laundry room is also on this level.
Decks across both levels of this home provide wonderful outdoor spaces as well as a private swimming pool, hot tub, and fantastic views of the Atlantic! The splendor of so many stars in the sky will amaze and delight you. The wild horses will certainly be paying a visit or grazing nearby. Take a break from life, Seabatical awaits!

Sunday Check In - 4 Wheel Drive Required - Linens and Towels provided in 2022, will NOT be provided in 2023 but are available for rent - Approximately 7 miles up the 4x4 beach Pool and hot tub will be open May to end of Sept. Parking at the house is free and unlimited. Two parking passes for parking on the beach will be available for your use.

The house, location, view, pool, and property are awesome. This was my families 3rd trip to Carova Beach and our 3rd stay with Carova Cottages. We simply love Seabatical!!!

Get ready to unwind and relax in a well-appointed home in an excellent location. My family and I had a wonderful time at Seabatical. The home was in a great location right near a sand dune entrance. You could sit on the decks and look out on the ocean. A beach that was toddler accessible was very close to the house so we drove every day which gave us the flexibility to take the little one back quickly if needed. On most days, the beaches in our area were not congested. Great shelling!
The home itself had everything my family needed. The house itself was beautifully designed and there was room for the entire family to sit together comfortably. The kitchen had everything needed for a family who cooked at home most of the week. The bedrooms were comfortable. The home was spotless when we arrived.
The pool and hot tub were used daily and the pool area was the perfect place for a family to congregate. We saw wild horses daily. One day in particular a herd of 5 horses (including a foal!) walked right around the pool area and napped in the backyard. Laura and company were great to work with and we would definitely return!
Some advice for renters not familiar with the area:
-Leave the beach umbrellas at home, bring a shibumi or easy up. The wind will probably break your umbrella.
-Town is not too far away. Buying a low country boil bucket is a great solution if you want seafood but don't want to take the family to town.
-Bring frozen drink mix so you can enjoy a frozen drink on the deck.

This was an amazing house with wonderful ocean views! The black bottom pool and hot tub were very refreshing! The kitchen had everything we needed for our family of four! Are two teenage daughters also love the house and told us that they would like to come back to this house again! Laura was timely in her responses to me prior to and during our stay. The house was very clean. The FIRST time (in over 20 years of traveling to OBX) that I did not feel the need to wipe down all of the shelves/drawers prior to putting our things/good away!! You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!!

A 5 star property in every way. Great layout with views of the ocean from nearly every spot in and outside the house. Ate almost every meal on the screened porch watching the ocean and seeing wild horses roam the dunes. Inside the house no expense was spared from the custom kitchen and baths to the furnishings. Pool and hot tub was another huge plus and communication and responsiveness from the management company was great. Don’t hesitate to rent this home!

This house is very comfortable and furnished very well. The hot tub and pool area are very relaxing, and you have your choice of numerous decks to just gaze at the ocean. This was our first time to the Outer Banks, and we definitely will be back. If relaxing at night by the pool or on one of the decks after a day at the beach, then this is the place to be.
It was fenomenal to the point I might consider getting a plot and build our family a sand beach house!! Since the moment I booked with the company was great until the close attention to our needs during our stay!! Fully recomend it
