For over a decade, Lighthouse Bagels has been hard at work bringing a bit of the north to Corolla folk.
Early mornings find them in the kitchen creating New York/New Jersey-style bagels and delectable donuts. They offer a breakfast menu all day featuring 15 kinds of bagels and made-from-scratch donuts, with their flavors changing daily. Quality sandwiches, wraps and salads make great lunch choices, too. Start early with an egg-inspired sandwich or choose a specialty sandwich made from Boars Head meats and cheeses. You can choose something already on the menu or make up your own deli sandwich by mixing and matching veggies, dressings, cheeses, turkey, roast beef, corned beef, pork, ham, pepperoni, or salami. How about fresh tuna or chicken salad on a rosemary olive oil bagel or the Jersey Morning featuring a bagel, cream cheese, fresh lox, tomato, onion and capers? The tempting French Toast bagel is a staple along with trusty plain, poppy seed, sesame, egg, onion, and more! The bagels are kettle cooked and have been known to sell out by late morning. Other treats include scones, muffins, cinnabuns, coffee cake and croissants. Go to their website to view a video on how they create their sell-out bagels.
